1 PHOTOGRAPHER PER ROW in a standard game drive vehicle is our Mantra, (see disclaimer) and with our Africa photography safaris being in private game reserves, not only do we go off-road to find the wildlife, the vehicle density is strictly controlled, so you will not experience the 50 vehicles / Minivans at a sighting, as is commonplace in many National Parks in South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya.
From the vehicle, or on foot during guide and tracker led bushwalks, guests will photograph and experience Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Hippo, Cheetah and other species of wildlife at world renowned Private Game preserves in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Tanzania or Kenya.
With groups of no larger than 6 photographers, the photography safari group is small enough and personal enough to allow for instruction both in the field and back at the lodge, so join us and enjoy the spectacular wildlife and stunning beauty of the African bush. With up to 20 guide led game drives we are targeting not only those interested in wildlife and landscape photography safari workshops but their partners/families, and all skill levels are welcome. We combine both the Africa photo workshop component targeted to the photographer with the Safari component appealing to all members of the party.
Our desire is to introduce you and your party to the stunning beauty and tranquility of the African landscape, and have you experience a once in a lifetime photo safari, yet still combine your passion for photography, wildlife and nature in unbelievable surroundings.
Landscape, wildlife, and photography safari workshops are either formal or informal depending on the group, with times being carefully selected to allow guests to enjoy Africa, attend all the Game Drives, yet provide time for walks, watching the Hippo, or simply relaxing at the pool with a good book. These wildlife and nature photo Safaris are truly for everyone …
