The Serengeti:

A million animals on the move, Africa's big predators in abundance, red-robed Maasai warriors and Out of Africa scenery - if you're looking for that quintessential East African safari experience, then the Serengeti delivers exactly want you think it should.

Set in the heart of the East African Great Plains of Tanzania, the Serengeti boasts 12,000 sq. miles of unspoiled wilderness. It offers the best game and bird-viewing anywhere in Africa. The views across the rolling golden grasslands studded with acacia trees, rivers and forests are dazzling, the sense of space overwhelming. Throughout the year the Serengeti is a place of natural drama, a kaleidoscope of color and life. Most stunning of all are the months between July and August, when the Savannah teems with millions of wildebeest migrating across the Serengeti in one of the natural wonders of the world. Staying in our luxurious mobile tented camp puts you right in the heart of the action, closer than anyone else to its incredible sights and sounds.
